Portable reference libraries that let a locally hosted AI answer against authoritative sources.
A knowledge library is a curated, downloadable body of authoritative material, prepared so that an AI engine running on your own hardware can query it directly. Nothing leaves the machine it runs on. The Centre is assembling libraries on the subjects where a reliable, local reference matters most, together with the reference build for standing up the engine that reads them.

The Centre runs various open-source models offline for its own work, putting these libraries to use on its own hardware with nothing sent to a third party. The same libraries are made available to the public, along with the reference build that shows how to stand up the capability offline, so that any entity or individual can do the same.
The reference build follows an engineering process rather than an ad hoc one. Requirements, of many kinds, drive the architecture. Requirements and architecture together set the high-level design, within the constraints each imposes. The high-level design drives the detailed designs, the specifics of hardware and software, within the limits already fixed. Build books are then written to satisfy all of the above, from bare hardware through to a working system. The knowledge libraries sit inside that build, following the same requirements, architecture, high-level design, and detailed designs as the rest.
