Convene
A closed strategic planning forum held six months after Maple Shield.
The annual summit is the Centre’s internal strategic planning forum. Held about six months after Maple Shield, it brings together leadership, chief advisors, and invited contributors to set the priority issues and topics for the following conference year.
It is not open to the public and has no external speakers or registration. Its outputs shape the Centre’s research agenda and the next Maple Shield programme.
The summit and Maple Shield form one planning cycle. The summit decides where the Centre’s attention should go; Maple Shield is where the resulting work is shared with the wider community. The two are held about six months apart, alternating through the year.
Participation is by invitation. To raise an issue for consideration or to contribute to the research agenda, the Contact page is the place to start.
