The next generation

Canadians aged 18 to 35 are the country’s future: future policy writers, future advisors, future technologists, future leaders. Preparing them is central to what the Centre does.

Guidance across generations is the substance of that preparation. Historical experience of the kind that can only be acquired by living through events, together with the bureaucratic and political reasoning behind decisions taken at the time, is passed on before it is lost. Things get forgotten. Choices made for reasons that mattered are re-argued years later without the reasoning that shaped them, and the country repeats work it had already done.

Students at any Canadian university with a serious interest in national security, law, or technology are welcome to enquire through the Contact page.
